Ainsley Morse

Ainsley Morse teaches in the Russian department at Dartmouth College and is a translator of Russian and former Yugoslav literatures. Book-length translations include Permanent Evolution, a collection of theoretical essays by the Formalist critic Yuri Tynianov (ASP; edited and translated with Philip Redko), Andrei Egunov-Nikolev’s «Soviet pastoral» Beyond Tula (ASP), and, with Bela Shayevich, Kholin 66: Diaries and Poems by Igor Kholin (UDP) and Vsevolod Nekrasov’s I Live I See (UDP 2013). Two contemporary poetry books edited by AM are forthcoming: Lida Yusupova’s The Scar We Know (Cicada Press) and the anthology The F Letter: New Russian Feminist Poetry (edited with Galina Rymbu and Eugene Ostashevsky).
