Nora Iuga

Nora Iuga (nom-de-plume of Eleonora Almosnino, b. 4 January 1931) – is a poet, novelist, and translator from German and Swedish into Romanian. She is a prolific writer, recipient of many prizes, among which is the 1980 Prize of the writers’ Union of Romania for the poetry volume Opinions about pain and the Friedrich Gundolf prize of the Academy for German Language and Poetry (2007).
